PEACE IS - OLIVE TREES ARE

This limited edition letterpress book was a labor of love. It took more than 500 hours to produce the edition of 50 books. Rather than being bound as a traditional book it was produced with an ancient Japanese method called an accordion fold. This allows the entire book to fold out to its full length and it also allows the book to stand freely and be displayed on a shelf. The book features 2-color letterpress printing for all the typography plus original inkjet B&W images printed in archival pigment inks. The cover cloth is Italian linen with gold foil stamping and the end sheets feature handmade marbled paper imported from Italy. The original photographs are by Edward Riddell and the prose poem is by Terry Tempest Williams. The edition has tiered pricing with the price decreasing as the lower numbers sell out.
